The light-footed Weißer Burgunder from the Münzberg winery shines into the glass with a brilliant light yellow. The nose of this white wine from the Palatinate region enchants with nuances of gallia melon, pineapple, mango and physalis. If we trace the aromatics further, sun-warmed rock, walnut and roasted almond come into play.
The Weißer Burgunder from Weingut Münzberg is ideal for all wine enthusiasts who like it dry. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an immensely balanced texture. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of physalis and pineapple appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and clay are added.
Vinification of the Weißer Burgunder from Münzberg Winery
This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand and loess. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
