More information about Weißburgunder trocken - Weingut Zur Schwane
In the glass, the vegan Pinot Blanc from Weingut Zur Schwane reveals a brilliantly shimmering pale yellow color. This single-varietal German wine flatters in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of peaches and apricots. This is joined by hints of other fruits.
The Weingut Zur Schwane Pinot Blanc presents itself to the wine lover pleasantly dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully velvety. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc flatters the palate with a soft feeling, without lacking juicy liveliness at the same time. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Franconia finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of apricot and peach appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Winery Zur Schwane Pinot Blanc
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Pinot Blanc. Only immaculate grapes were harvested for this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from Weingut Zur Schwane. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Franconia. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
