Siefersheim Riesling Porphyr by Wagner-Stempel is an extremely mineral, grape varietal and fresh white wine from the German wine-growing region of Siefersheim in Rheinhessen. Riesling grapes are cultivated after organic cultivation.
In the glass, this wine shines in a clear light yellow with platinum gold highlights. The complex bouquet reveals intense aromas of juicy vineyard peaches and sun-ripened apricots - perfectly accompanied by vegetarian notes of mint and lemon balm. On the palate, this German white wine with an incredibly mineral body is accompanied by a fresh and lively acidity. The wonderful complexity gives the Wagner stamp Siefersheim Riesling Porphyry a perfect structure. The finale comes with a nice length.
Vinification of the Wagner stamp Siefersheimer Porphyr Riesling
The grapes come from the best Riesling parcels in Siefersheim. The soils are very rocky with skeletal sand, gravel and clay. Porphyry rock can be found in the underground.
TheRiesling grapes are harvested by hand and are already strictly selected in the vineyard. In the Wagner-Stempel wine cellar, the harvested material is first fermented in stainless steel tanks. After the fermentation process has been completed, this white wine is aged both in stainless steel tanks and in traditional German oak barrels
