Vinification of the Wachenheim Riesling R from Weingut Bürklin Wolf
The balanced Wachenheim Riesling R from Germany is a single varietal wine, organically vinified from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and sand. Wachenheim Riesling R is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this German wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After the harvest, the grapes arrive swiftly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Wachenheim Riesling R is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
