Overall, it is very long-lasting and profound in its aroma and a real treat with sweet almond cake with vanilla sauce, chocolate cookies, dried fruits as well as hard cheese and gorgonzola.
This noble drop matured, or one could say reduced, for at least five years in tiny wooden barrels and barriques in the attic of the winery. After bottling, it matured on the bottle for a few more months.
