The Verdejo of Beronia is a wonderful Spanish white wine from the Rueda region.
A bright light gold with greenish highlights shimmers in the glass. The bouquet reveals complex, expressive aromas: from ripe yellow stone fruit, tropical notes and fresh citrus fruits, to freshly cut grass, herbs and some fennel, to floral nuances. On the palate, the wonderful fruit fullness combines with the vegetarian notes to create a perfect aroma. The body is very juicy, full-bodied and protected by a vibrant acidity. The finale is accompanied by the Verdejo-typical subtle bitterness.
Vinification of Beronia Verdejo
ThisSpanish white wine is vinified with grapes from two ripening phases. The first early grapes are introduced as quickly as possible and fermented in the wine cellar at high temperatures in a steel tank. This wine gains its fascinating vegetarian notes.
The second harvest is harvested with fully ripe Verdejo grapes. The fermentation of this must is slower and at lower temperatures in the steel tank. With this fermentation process, the intense aromas are perfectly formed.
Finally, both musts are ground together and thus produce a fresh, fruity and characterful white wine.
Food recommendation for the Rueda Verdejo of Beronia
Enjoy this dry white wine from Spain with naked summer salads, vegetarian vegetable pans or with grilled fish and light meat. But also solo, this white wine is a delight.
