The Peppermint Paddock by d 'Arenberg from the Australian McLaren Vale wine region in South Australia is a refreshing, colourful and grape varietal sparkling wine vinified from Chambourcin.
The colour in the glass alone is a real highlight - deeply coloured with a light violet mousse. Even in the nose, this sparkling wine convinces with intense aromas of sweet forest berries - perfectly accompanied by a hint of Christmas spice. The pearl rises in fine pearl cords and the palate is greeted by an explosion of fine bubbles on the first sip. The aromas of the nose are revealed, which inspire with a very good fruit fullness. The fresh, lively acidity perfectly underlines the aroma and accompanies in the crisp reverberation.
