More information about Tetuna Reserve - Robert Goldenits

The Tetuna Reserve by Robert Goldenits from Burgenland offers a bright, light red color in the swirled glass. If you swirl the wine glass, you can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, because it stands out neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. The bouquet of this red wine from Burgenland delights with aromas of blackberry and black currant. If we trace the aromatics further, black cherry comes in.

On the palate, the Tetuna Reserve from Robert Goldenits opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Burgenland, more precisely from Lake Neusiedl, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and clay.

Vinification of the Robert Goldenits Tetuna Reserve

The basis for the balanced Tetuna Reserve from Austria are grapes from the varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgenland. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sand and clay. Of course, the Tetuna Reserve is also determined by the climate and viticultural style of Lake Neusiedl. This Austrian can literally be described as an Old World wine that is exceptionally impressive. The ripening of the grapes for this wine made from Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Burgenland, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and even grapes and a rather moderate must weight. The grapes for this red wine from Austria, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.

Food recommendation for the Tetuna Reserve by Robert Goldenits

Experience this red wine from Austria best tempered at 15 - 18 ° C as a companion to goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram, veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes or duck breast with sugar snap peas.
