The Tenuta di Vignole is picturesquely nestled in the rolling hills of the Chianti region, three kilometers from Panzano.
Wines from the treasure chest of Italy
The Italian winery is owned by the Nistri family. They took it over in 1970, but at that time they were anything but beginners. In fact, the Nistri family has been in the wine business since 1865 as winemakers, so they brought more than 100 years of experience. And it is a pleasure for the eye and the palate to see and taste exactly this experience.
Tenuta di Vignole also offers excellent conditions for the production of top Italian wines. With correspondingly great passion but also responsibility, the Nistris press their noble wines here. The vines are allowed to thrive on well-known top vineyards such as 'La Conca d'Oro', the gold basin in the heart of the Chianti region. The winemakers are wholeheartedly committed not only to the grape and its processing, but also to nature. Consequently, one of the winemakers' principles is "naturalness and sustainability". For example, Tenuta di Vignole wines can be enjoyed with the knowledge that they are free of artificial additives and have been carefully produced. The same applies to the pressing and aging in the barrels.
The result of all these efforts is nothing less than the fact that Tenuta di Vignole produces wines with the best characteristics of Chianti.
Winery Tenuta di Vignole - Wines with velvety character
The winery Di Vignole was already built in the period around 1500. A total of 21 hectares of land belong to it, 14 of which are vineyards. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 300 meters and have a southeastern or southwestern orientation. They are all located in an incomparable landscape, characterized by olive groves and cypress trees. Here the wine finds ideal conditions on the closely planted vines, because the climate in the Panzano region is temperate and warm. In midsummer, the amount of precipitation is just right for growing grapes. These ideal conditions give, for example, the Sangiovese grape its strength as well as its full ruby red color. What further distinguishes the wines of the Tenuta di Vingole is
- the liveliness
- a velvety character
- and aromas
that harmonize perfectly with each other.
Top wines from Conca d'Oro
Chianti may now be considered the most famous synonym for Italian wine. No wonder, because the Chianti region is the largest wine-growing area in Tuscany. For the Chianti Classico, the Nistri winegrowers process their Sangiovese. It provides the most elegant and typical expression of the terroir. It matures in wooden barrels of Slovenian oak, in the deep cellar of the winery, protected from the heat. Thus, the best Tuscan red wines found in the Conca d'Oro are stored here. A winery with a small treasure cellar. It is worth tasting.
