Spumante white - Oddbird

The Oddbird Spumante white is a first-class sparkling wine in a glass. It reveals a wonderfully brilliant, platinum yellow color. The perlage of this sparkling wine is lively and long-lasting in the glass. The nose of this Oddbird sparkling wine reveals all kinds of green apple, elderberry and grapefruit. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in stainless steel adds further aromas such as Nashi pear.

The Oddbird Spumante white is pleasantly dry for the wine drinker. This sparkling wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the tongue, this light-footed sparkling wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. On the finish, this sparkling wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, there are hints of grapefruit and elderberry.

Vinification of Oddbird Spumante white

This elegant sparkling wine from Italy is made from the Glera grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully pressed. This is followed by fermentation of the base wines. Once the cuvée has been assembled, the wine is aged using the Charmat method. This is followed by bottle ageing for 12 months. Once the wine is finished, the Spumante white is carefully de-alcoholized.

Dining recommendations for Oddbird Spumante white

This Italian sparkling wine is best enjoyed chilled at 5 - 7°C. It goes perfectly with vegetable salad with beetroot, spaghetti with yoghurt-mint pesto or wok vegetables with fish.
