The Pinot Noir comes very close to this, as it was vinified with just 0.2 grams of residual sugar. The texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety on the palate. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, this Pinot Noir is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this red wine from the Rheingau wine-growing region is convincing with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the loess and clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Pinot Noir from Allendorf
This balanced red wine from Germany is vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Rheingau. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into loam and loess soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
