More information about Spätburgunder Rosé trocken - Allendorf

The Pinot Noir rosé from Allendorf in the Rheingau shows a bright, ruby red color in the wine glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this rosé wine from Germany reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of peach, apricot and pear, rounded off by other fruity nuances.

On the palate, the Pinot Noir rosé from Allendorf starts off pleasantly aromatic, fruity and balanced, and despite its dry appearance on the palate, this rosé wine delights with a delicate melt and elegantly integrated residual sweetness. This light rosé wine is balanced and complex on the palate. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, this Pinot Noir rosé is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Rheingau wine-growing region delights with its beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of peach and apricot. Mineral notes from the loess and clay-dominated soil are added in the finish.

Vinification of the Allendorf Pinot Noir Rosé

This balanced rosé wine from Germany is made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Rheingau. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into loam and loess soils. After the harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Dining recommendation for the Pinot Noir Rosé from Allendorf

This rosé wine from Germany should ideally be served well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to wok vegetables with fish, fruity endive salad or asparagus salad with quinoa.
