More information about Spätburgunder - K.F. Groebe
The Pinot Noir from K.F. Groebe in Rheinhessen shows a bright, light red color in the tilted glass. Tilting the glass slightly, a transition of the hue towards garnet red can be seen at the edges. The first nose of the Pinot Noir shows nuances of raspberries, blackberries and plums. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The K.F. Groebe Pinot Noir impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this mature wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of blackberry and raspberry show.
Vinification of the K.F. Groebe Pinot Noir
The balanced Pinot Noir from Germany is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
