The Weingut Franz Keller Kaiserstuhl Pinot Noir is a first-class red wine. It offers a wonderfully brilliant, light red color. With a little lateral position, the red wine glass, Burgundy goblet reveals a charming garnet red tone at the edges. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from Germany displays delightfully fragrant aromas of plum, black cherry, mulberry and blackberry, rounded out by oriental spices, cinnamon and gingerbread spice contributed by aging in wooden barrels.
The Weingut Franz Keller Kaiserstuhl Pinot Noir presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine connoisseur. This red wine is never coarse or meager, as you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the tongue, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. The finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Baden, more precisely from Kaiserstuhl, finally delights with a good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the loess-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Weingut Franz Keller Kaiserstuhl Pinot Noir
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Noir. For this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from Weingut Franz Keller, only first-class grape material was brought in. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loess. When the perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Kaiserstuhl Spätburgunder are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the Kaiserstuhl Spätburgunder from Weingut Franz Keller
