Vinification of the Somerento Chardonnay Alto Adige from Cantina Andrian
The basis for the balanced Somerento Chardonnay Alto Adige from Italy are grapes from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into limestone soil. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Somerento Chardonnay Alto Adige can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 6 months.
