Vinification of the Skemerlig Cabernet Sauvignon from Kaapzicht
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Cabernet Sauvignon. Only first-class grapes were brought in for this exceptionally powerful single-varietal wine from Kaapzicht. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Skemerlig Cabernet Sauvignon can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 24 months.

This red wine from South Africa should ideally be served at a temperature of 15 - 18°C with boeuf bourguignon, boiled veal with beans and tomatoes or roasted veal liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce.
