Selvapiana

Selvapiana was the name of one of the watchtowers that stood along the Sieve River in the Middle Ages and was built to protect the city of Florence.

During the Renaissance, the building was then expanded and then converted into a villa for noble families and bishops. in 1827, a very successful banker named Michele Giuntini found himself acquiring the property and from then on using it as a winery. Today it is managed by Giuntini's adopted children. They know how to perpetuate the tradition and produce quality wines with their own unique language, yesterday as today.
