The Sarpa di Poli by Jacopo Poli is a powerful grappa from the marc of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%).
In the glass, this grappa presents itself in a clear, transparent color. The fresh bouquet is carried by fresh herbs, speckled mint and floral accents of roses and geraniums. On the palate, this grappa is wonderfully powerful with a rustic personality - very pure and honest in taste.
Distillation of Jacopo Poli Grappa Sarpa di Poli Big Mama
The still fresh pomace is traditionally distilled in old copper burners. After the firing process, this grappa still has 75% by volume. By adding distilled water, this pomace brandy reaches an alcohol content of 40% by volume. This grappa then rests in stainless steel tanks for a total of 6 months, after which it is gently filtered and filled onto the bottle.
