Vinification of the Château Latour-Martillac Rouge Grand Cru Classé de Graves Pessac-Léognan

This balanced red wine from France is cuvée from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Bordeaux. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of gravel. The Rouge Grand Cru Classé de Graves Pessac-Léognan is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, for this Frenchman exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. When perfect physiological ripeness is assured, the grapes for the Rouge Grand Cru Classé de Graves Pessac-Léognan are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed.
