More information about Rosato Marche IGT - Velenosi
The Rosato Marche by Velenosi from the Marche region presents a bright, light red color in the wine glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this rosé wine from the Old World has wonderfully expressive aromas of raspberry, violet, rose and redcurrant, rounded off with other fruity nuances.
The Velenosi Rosato Marche is wonderfully dry for wine drinkers. This rosé wine is never coarse or austere, but round and smooth. This light rosé wine is balanced and multi-faceted on the palate. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the Marche wine-growing region, or more precisely from Marche IGT, is ultimately delightful with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Rosato Marche from Velenosi
This rosé wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Montepulciano. Only first-class grapes were used for this exceptionally balanced single-varietal wine from Velenosi. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay soils in the Marche region. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Rosato Marche can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
