The Riesling from the Espenhof winery shines in the glass in a light yellow with green reflections and unfolds its typical grape variety bouquet with the aromas of peach, green apple and lime. These aromas are rounded off by a delicate spice and herbal notes. This white wine from Rheinhessen has a lot of substance and juiciness on the palate with a fine minerality. Vinification for Riesling from the Espenhof Winery The almost 20-year-old vines for this Riesling grow on a rocky southern slope on shellfish limestone in the location of Flonheimer BIngerberg. The grapes are selectively harvested, the fermentation and ageing take place 50% in the stainless steel tank and 50% with spontaneous fermentation partly in the large wood. This Riesling is then stored on the whole yeast until bottling. Food recommendation for the Riesling from the Espenhof Winery Enjoy this dry white wine with freshwater fish, asparagus or roast pork.
