Vinification of the wine estate Zur Schwane Riesling
The basis for the elegant Riesling from Germany are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. In Franconia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After manual harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Riesling is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
