Pinot Bianco Südtirol DOC 2019 - Peter Zemmer
Prices incl. VAT plus shipping costs
In the glass the Pinot Bianco South Tyrol from the pen of Peter Zemmer shows a bright light yellow colour. This varietal Italian wine reveals in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of lilac, quince, mulberry and nashi pear. Added to this are hints of cinnamon, garrigue and forest soil.
This wine inspires with its elegant dry taste. It was brought to the bottle with only 0.5 grams of residual sugar. As one can naturally expect from a wine, this Italian naturally enchants with the finest balance in all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need much sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Pinot Bianco South Tyrol flatters with a soft feeling on the palate without lacking freshness. In the finish, this storable white wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of quince and lavender. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and sand are added.
Vinification of the Peter Zemmer Pinot Bianco South Tyrol
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the grape variety Pinot Blanc. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation on the fine yeast for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Recommended with Peter Zemmer Pinot Bianco South Tyrol
