Vinification of the Protos Verdejo Reserva Ruedo from Bodegas Protos
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Verdejo. Only first-class grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Bodegas Protos. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils in Castile - León. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the elegant Protos Verdejo Reserva Ruedo is aged for another 7 months in French oak barriques.
