Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc 2019 - Villa Maria
Prices incl. VAT plus shipping costs
The Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc from Villa Maria in the Marlborough wine-growing region of New Zealand is a fruity, lively white wine.
In the glass, this organic white wine presents itself in a light straw yellow with greenish reflections. This New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is characterised by a fragrantly aromatic, enormously complex and explosive bouquet of fresh citrus fruits, honeydew melons, juicy gooseberries and exotic passion fruit notes, rounded off by slightly grassy herbal notes. Seductively juicy and typically aromatic in taste, this white wine shows a beautiful racy, fruity acidity and a particularly fresh and lively finish.
Vinification of Sauvignon Blanc Villa Maria Private Bin
The grapes for this wine come from different vineyards in the Wairau and Awatere valleys of the Marlborough region, with a wide range of different microclimatic conditions. In order to make the most of the seasons and ensure a powerful, pure fragrance, much attention has been paid to the health of the vines and grapes.
Within 3 weeks the grapes are brought in with different degrees of ripeness and immediately brought into the wine cellar. There the grapes are gently ground, then pressed and left to cool for 24 hours. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 12 to 14 degrees Celsius. Immediately after the fermentation process is completed, this wine is bottled.
