more information

The expressive Champagne cuvée Prélude Brut from Champagne Taittinger is made from Chardonnay (50%) and Pinot Noir (50%).

In the glass this sparkling wine shines in a shiny light yellow with glittering highlights. The perlage dances incessantly in the glass and forms a fine creamy mousseux on the surface. The fresh bouquet reveals the finest notes of freshly cooked blackberry jelly, roasted nuts and floral accents of elderflower. The aromas of the nose are accompanied by a hint of cinnamon. On the palate this champagne is wonderfully fresh with a vital acidity. The texture is wonderfully supple and silky, and also dense and multi-layered. A fascinating variety of aromas emerges: from white peaches to lemon cream and fresh brioche. The finesse-rich finish offers a wonderfully pleasant length and aromatic intensity.

Food recommendation for the Brut Champagne Taittinger Prélude

This excellent sparkling wine from France is a delicious aperitif that also goes very well with seafood in the main course and fruity desserts.
