The Poli Miele Museo della Grappa by Jacopo Poli is a soft, finely sweet grappa distilled from the marc of various grape varieties from Veneto and flavoured with acacia blossom honey and herbal oil essences.
In the glass, this grappa has a very bright straw yellow with glittering reflections. The fine bouquet reveals aromatic notes of pine, orange and acacia blossoms and subtle hints of juniper. On the palate, this flavoured marc brandy is wonderfully soft with a fine sweetness that is perfectly accompanied by balsamic aromas.
Distillation of Jacopo Poli Miele Museo della Grappa
The still fresh marc of the various grape varieties from the Venetian appellation Vicenza is traditionally distilled in old copper burners. After the firing process, this grappa still has 75% by volume. By adding distilled water, this pomace brandy reaches an alcohol content of 35% by volume. After the addition of the acacia blossom honey and the fine herbs, this grappa rests for a total of 3 months in stainless steel tanks, before finally being gently filtered into the bottle.
