The powerful Poggio Lombrone Montecucco Sangiovese Riserva from Italy is a single-varietal wine, organically vinified from the Sangiovese grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in oak barriques.
