More information about Pinot Noir - Résonance Vineyard

This elegant Pinot Noir from Résonance Vineyard enters the glass with a bright light red color. Held at a slight angle, a transition of color toward garnet red is evident at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. After the initial swirl, one can perceive a premium balance in this red wine as it does not stand out on the glass walls as watery, syrupy or liqueur-like. This single varietal U.S. wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of pomegranates and raspberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of mineral and vanilla.

On the palate, the Pinot Noir from Résonance Vineyard starts pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this mature wine from the Oregon winegrowing region finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of pomegranate and raspberry show.

Vinification of the Résonance Vineyard Pinot Noir

The basis for the balanced Pinot Noir from the USA are grapes from the Pinot Noir variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for the Pinot Noir from Résonance Vineyard

This North American is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with caper tomato sauce, stuffed peppers or vegetable couscous with beef patties.
