More information about Pinot Noir Alsace AOP - André Stentz
The Pinot Noir Alsace from the pen of André Stentz from Alsace offers a dense, light red color in the swirled glass. When swirling the wine glass, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is evident in clear church windows at the edge of the glass. The nose of this red wine from Alsace charms with hints of sour cherry and plum. If we trace the aromatics further, forest floor and lovage come in.
This red from André Stentz is ideal for those who like as little residual sugar in the wine as possible. At the same time, however, it never appears meager or brittle, as one would naturally expect from a wine in this price range. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Pinot Noir Alsace presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Alsace finally captivates with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the André Stentz Pinot Noir Alsace
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Noir. For this wonderfully powerful varietal wine from André Stentz, only first-class grapes were brought in. After the grapes have been harvested, they are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
