The Pinot Grigio delle Venezie from the Veneto wine growing region presents itself in the glass in brilliant shimmering copper gold. The nose of this white wine from Veneto seduces with nuances of nashi pear, mulberry, physalis and star fruit. As we continue to explore the aromas, we add garrigue, brittle and forest soil.
This dry white wine from Villa Sandi is perfect for wine connoisseurs who would prefer 0.0 grams of sugar in the wine. The Pinot Grigio delle Venezie already comes very close to this, as it was vinified with just 5.9 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully dense. With its lively fruit acidity, the Pinot Grigio delle Venezie is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this storable white wine from the Veneto wine growing region finally inspires with considerable length. Once again there are hints of pineapple and apple.
Vinification of the Pinot Grigio delle Venezie from Villa Sandi
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Gris. Only immaculate grapes were used for this wonderfully elegant, pure variety wine from Villa Sandi. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Pinot Grigio delle Venezie can continue to harmonise on the fine lees for a few months.

Super Wein. Schlechter Korken.
Mila | Apr 26, 2019
