The Osteria Pinot Bianco Terre di Chieti is a first-class biodynamic white wine. It presents a wonderfully bright, golden yellow color. This Osteria white wine presents the nose with all kinds of green apples and pears. As if that wasn't already impressive, further aromas such as hazelnut are added thanks to the ageing in stainless steel.
On the palate, the Pinot Bianco Terre di Chieti from Osteria starts off pleasantly dry, full-bodied and aromatic. The texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully light on the palate. The fruit acidity of Pinot Bianco Terre di Chieti is wonderfully rounded, making this wine wonderfully smooth. On the finish, this youthful wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of green apple and pear.
Vinification of the Pinot Bianco Terre di Chieti from Osteria
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Blanc. Only flawless grapes were harvested for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Osteria. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by ageing on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Dining recommendations for Osteria Pinot Bianco Terre di Chieti
This biodynamic white wine from Italy is best enjoyed chilled at 8 - 10°C with vegetable salad with beetroot, spaghetti with yoghurt and mint pesto or omelette with salmon and fennel.
