More information about Pauillac Grand Cru Classé - Chateau Haut Bages Liberal

The Pauillac Grand Cru Classé of Chateau Haut Bages Liberal from Bordeaux reveals a dense, crimson color in the wine glass. If the glass is held at a slight angle, a transition of the wine color towards garnet red can be seen at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling it, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is evident in clear church windows at the edge of the glass. In the glass, this red wine from Chateau Haut Bages Liberal offers aromas of blackberries and black currants, complemented by white pepper. On the palate, the Pauillac Grand Cru Classé of Chateau Haut Bages Liberal starts wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this punchy red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. In the finish, this excellent storable red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with exceptional length. Again, hints of black currant and blackberry show.

Vinification of the Chateau Haut Bages Liberal Pauillac Grand Cru Classé

This powerful red wine from France is vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Of course, Pauillac Grand Cru Classé is also defined by more than just the Pauillac soil. This Frenchman can be described in the best sense of the word as an Old World wine that is exceptionally impressive. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the powerful Pauillac Grand Cru Classé is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
