The powerful Pauillac Grand Cru Classé of Château Clerc Milon shimmers into the glass with dense purple. When swirling the wine glass, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which shows in church windows at the edge of the glass. The bouquet of this red wine from Bordeaux convinces with notes of blackberry and black currant. If we trace the aromatics further, white pepper, licorice and chocolate are added.

On the palate, the Pauillac Grand Cru Classé of Château Clerc Milon opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. Full-bodied and complex, this silky red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux, more precisely from Pauillac, finally thrills with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by gravel and clay.

Vinification of the Pauillac Grand Cru Classé from Château Clerc Milon

The basis for the powerful Pauillac Grand Cru Classé from Bordeaux are grapes from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Merlot and Petit Verdot. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and gravel. Obviously, the Pauillac Grand Cru Classé is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors Pauillac. This Frenchman can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, with an exceptionally impressive presentation. The grapes for this red wine from France are harvested, at the time of optimal maturity, exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After its end, the powerful Pauillac Grand Cru Classé is aged for another 16 months in oak barrels.
