Vinification of the Tenuta Tenaglia Passo Rosso
The powerful Passo Rosso from Italy is a single-varietal wine, vegan vinified from the Barbera grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into sandstone soils. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Passo Rosso is allowed to harmonize further for a few months on the fine lees.
Dining recommendation for Tenuta Tenaglia Passo Rosso
This vegan red wine from Italy should ideally be served at a temperature of 15 - 18°C with cabbage roulades, pumpkin casserole or pasta with sausage dumplings.
