This red wine is never coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. With its present fruit acidity, the Pasamonte Utiel-Requena is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of Valencia finally inspires with beautiful length. There are again hints of sour cherry.
Vinification of the Pasamonte Utiel-Requena from Bodegas Vegalfaro
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Garnacha. Only the best grape material was used for this exceptionally powerful single-varietal wine from Bodegas Vegalfaro. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

This Spanish red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to baked feta cheese parcels, arugula penne or lemon chili chicken with bulgur.
