The Tenuta Tenaglia Otium is a first-class vegan white wine. It reveals a wonderfully bright, golden yellow color. In the glass, this white wine from Tenuta Tenaglia presents aromas of strawberries, complemented by chocolate. This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with just 2 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Otium flatters the palate with a velvety sensation without lacking in juicy liveliness. On the finish, this wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region finally delights with good length. There are again hints of strawberry. Vinification of the Otium from Tenuta Tenaglia
The balanced Otium from Italy is a single-varietal wine, vegan vinified from the Chardonnay grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and marl soils in Piedmont. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Otium can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
