More information about Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Magnus Riesling - Jakob Schneider

The elegant Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Magnus Riesling from the pen of Jakob Schneider comes into the glass with a bright light yellow color. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls as watery or syrupy or liqueur-like. In the glass, this white wine from Jakob Schneider shows aromas of peaches, dried apricot, passion fruit and lemons, complemented by vanilla. The Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Magnus Riesling from Jakob Schneider is a good choice for all wine drinkers who like as little residual sweetness in their wine as possible. At the same time, however, it never shows itself to be meager or brittle, as one would naturally expect in a wine top wine range. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp and dense. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Magnus Riesling reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of the Nahe finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of passion fruit and lemon appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by volcanic rock join in.

Vinification of the Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Magnus Riesling by Jakob Schneider

This balanced white wine from Germany is made from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Nahe region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.

Food recommendation for the Jakob Schneider Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Magnus Riesling

Drink this white wine from Germany best well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to wok vegetables with fish, coconut-lime fish curry or leek soup.
