The Negresco Valtènesi Rosso of Cà Maiol from Lombardy presents a dense ruby color in the glass. When swirling the wine glass, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is evident in clear church windows at the edge of the glass. In the glass, this red wine from Cà Maiol reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, mulberry, morello cherry and plum, complemented by garrigue, vanilla and juniper. On the palate, Cà Maiol's Negresco Valtènesi Rosso opens delightfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this punchy red wine is wonderfully silky, melting, velvety and dense. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Negresco Valtènesi Rosso flatters with a pleasing mouthfeel without lacking freshness. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of Lombardy, which can be stored well, finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of blueberry and mulberry. Vinification of the Cà Maiol Negresco Valtènesi Rosso

The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful Cuvée Negresco Valtènesi Rosso from Cà Maiol are Barbera, Groppello, Marzemino and Sangiovese grapes. In Lombardy, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay. Of course, Negresco Valtènesi Rosso is also determined by climate and viticultural style Valtenèsi DOC. This Italian can literally be described as an Old World wine, which presents itself exceptionally fragrant. The development of the grapes for this wine from Barbera, Groppello, Marzemino and Sangiovese is influenced to an undeniable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Lombardy, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. The grapes for this red wine from Italy, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
