The dense, shimmering red of Mouton Cadet Rouge Bordeaux AOC by Baron Philippe de Rothschild shines with garnet-red reflexes in the glass. On the nose this French red wine from Bordeaux unfolds a complex, aromatically expressive fragrance of red and black fruits, such as red and black currants, strawberries and blackberries. It is elegantly complemented by soft, savoury herbal and spiced notes. Its smooth, well-rounded flavour of fruity aromas is supported by an integrated tannin structure that is just as elegant on the palate as in its finish with an aromatic, slightly spicy echo of red and black fruits.
Food pairing for the Mouton Cadet Rouge Bordeaux by Baron Philippe de Rothschild
This tasty French red wine pairs perfectly with French bistro cuisine, with grilled entrecôte, rack of lamb, medium rare roast duck breast, rabbit stew, and hearty Mediterranean ragoûts.
This cuvée was created by Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1930 and has been a great success for the Barons ever since. It was intended as a secordary wine to complement its 'Grand Vin' but quickly advanced to become one of most well-loved restaurant wines in the world.

Mouton Cadet ist immer für eine Überraschung gut
Ich lasse den Mouton Cadte immer lange vor dem Essen atmen. Dann ist er wunderbar zu Fleisch.Bernd Suder | Sep 10, 2017
