More information about Morey-Saint-Denis Rue de Vergy AOP - Virgile Lignier-Michelot
The barrel-aged Morey-Saint-Denis Rue de Vergy from the Burgundy wine-growing region shows a bright light red color in the glass. When swirling the glass, one can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine offers wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry and plum, rounded out by other fruity nuances contributed by barrel aging.
The Virgile Lignier-Michelot Morey-Saint-Denis Rue de Vergy delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this well storable red wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region finally inspires with exceptional length. There are again hints of plum and blackberry.
Vinification of the Morey-Saint-Denis Rue de Vergy by Virgile Lignier-Michelot
