Morey Saint Denis AOC - Tortochot
More information about Morey Saint Denis AOC - Tortochot
The barrel-aged Morey Saint Denis from the Burgundy wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in bright light red. At the edges also shows a color transition to garnet red. Swiveling the glass, one can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like manner. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine shows wonderfully expressive aromas of plum and blackberry, rounded out by mineral and blueberry contributed by barrel aging.
The Tortochot Morey Saint Denis presents itself to the wine lover pleasantly dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Balanced and multifaceted, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this very ripe red wine from the wine-growing region of Burgundy finally impresses with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Tortochot Morey Saint Denis
This balanced red wine from France is vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Morey Saint Denis is an Old World wine through and through, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After the grapes are harvested, they immediately enter the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the elegant Morey Saint Denis is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
