More information about Morey-Saint-Denis AOC - François Feuillet

The barrel-aged Morey-Saint-Denis from the Burgundy wine-growing region presents a bright light red in the glass. At the edge, this French red also shows a transition to garnet red. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. To the nose, this François Feuillet red wine shows all sorts of plums and blackberries. As if that weren't already impressive, the aging in small wooden barrels adds other aromas such as blueberry.

This French wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine Icon wine segment, this French naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. Balanced and multifaceted, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this mature red wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of blackberry and plum show.

Vinification of the François Feuillet Morey-Saint-Denis

The balanced Morey-Saint-Denis from France is a single varietal wine, made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Morey-Saint-Denis is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the elegant Morey-Saint-Denis is aged for several more months in French oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the François Feuillet Morey-Saint-Denis
