More information about Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Les Faconnières AOP - Virgile Lignier-Michelot
The elegant Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Les Faconnières from the house of Virgile Lignier-Michelot comes into the glass with a bright light red. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls watery or syrupy or liqueur-like. To the nose, this Virgile Lignier-Michelot red wine shows all sorts of plums and blackberries. As if that were not already impressive, other aromas such as blueberry join in due to the aging in small wooden barrels.
The Virgile Lignier-Michelot Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Les Faconnières presents itself to the wine lover pleasantly dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of Burgundy finally inspires with exceptional length. Once again, hints of blackberry and plum show.
