More information about Meursault en Luraule AOP - Remi Jobard

The barrel-aged Meursault en Luraule from the Burgundy wine-growing region presents a bright golden yellow color in the glass. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, because it stands out on the walls of the glass neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. In the glass, this white wine from Remi Jobard presents aromas of lemons, pears and peaches, complemented by mineral. On the palate, Remi Jobard's Meursault en Luraule starts wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Balanced and complex, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region, which can be stored well, finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of peach and pear.

Vinification of the Meursault en Luraule by Remi Jobard

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Chardonnay. For this wonderfully balanced single varietal wine from Remi Jobard, only top quality grapes were brought in. Meursault en Luraule is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After the harvest, the grapes arrive swiftly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.

Food pairing for the Meursault en Luraule by Remi Jobard

This French white wine is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to omelet with salmon and fennel, fruity endive salad or asparagus salad with quinoa.
