Vinification of Domaine de Nizas Mazet de Nizas blanc Pays d'Oc
The basis for the balanced Mazet de Nizas blanc Pays d'Oc from France are grapes from the Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier varieties. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Languedoc-Roussillon. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
