To the nose, this Les Domaines Paul Mas red wine presents all kinds of blackberries, morello cherries, blackcurrants, mulberries and plums. As if this wasn't already impressive, cocoa beans, cinnamon and black tea are added to the wine by ageing it in large wooden barrels.
This dry red wine from Les Domaines Paul Mas is something for purists who like it absolutely dry. The Mas des Mas Grés de Montpellier is already quite close to this, as it was vinified with just 1 gram of residual sugar. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an exceptionally balanced texture.
