More information about Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut AOP - Domaine Paul Mas
The Domaine Paul Mas Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut is a first-class sparkling wine. It presents a wonderfully bright, light red color. The perlage of this sparkling wine is wonderfully long-lasting and fine in the glass. If you swirl the glass, you can perceive a first-class balance in this sparkling wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. This Domaine Paul Mas sparkling wine presents the nose with all kinds of raspberries and strawberries. As if that wasn't already impressive, other aromas such as redcurrant are added.
The Domaine Paul Mas Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with 7.4 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so, despite its dryness, this French wine naturally delights with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. The texture of this well-balanced sparkling wine is wonderfully crisp on the palate. The Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its pronounced fruit acidity. The finish of this sparkling wine from the Languedoc wine-growing region, more precisely from Limoux, is convincing with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the clay and limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Domaine Paul Mas Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut
The balanced Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut from France is a cuvée made from the Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Languedoc. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and clay. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and gently pressed. This is followed by fermentation of the base wines. Once the cuvée has been assembled, the wine is further matured using the Méthode Traditionelle, classic bottle fermentation. The Domaine Paul Mas Martinolles Rosé Crémant de Limoux Brut then matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
