Exquisite and exclusive: Mallorca's wine
The Balearic island of Mallorca has two popular wine regions. The very small D.O.P. Binissalem is located in the centre of the island and is the epitome of wine from Mallorca. Plà i Llevant, the much larger D.O.P., is located on the eastern side. To the north and along the west coast is the Serra de Tramuntana - Costa Nord wine region. The excellent climatic conditions and the good soil lead to excellent wine in all wine regions. The winegrowers of Mallorca focus on quality. Each year they vinify in their Bodegas (wine cellars) in about 48.000 hl of delicious, first-class and exquisite wine. The demand for wine from Mallorca is growing and exports have recently started to increase. Find out more about Mallorca
