The Aquavit line appears in the glass in a light amber and presents its aroma combination of caraway, anise, orange peel and a hint of vanilla.
On the palate it starts complex with harmonious caraway notes, which are rounded off by spices and dry Fino Sherry.
Production of the line Aquavit
The line Aquavit is distilled according to a traditional Norwegian recipe and matures for 16 months in oak barrels that were previously used as sherry barrels. This gives this aquavite its particularly round and gentle character.
To date, each line of Aquavit Barrel 4 travels from the 16 months of maturity on the lake to Australia and back, crossing the equator twice. The different temperature zones, the changing humidity, the wild sea breeze and the constant movement during the voyage give it its unique and unmistakable character.Serving recommendation for the
